报告内容:
Engineering metal-based materials with size, shape, composition, structure and strain control is the key to enhance the performance of energy conversion and storage devices. In this talk, I will focus on my recent developments in rational design and controlled synthesis of high-quality multicomponent metal-based materials for fuel cells, battery and sensors. I will start with how to engineer multimetallic nanowires and graphene-FePt nanoparticles (NPs) composite for achieving efficient Pt-based catalysts for oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) with extremely high activity and stability. After that, I will move to non-Pt catalysts such as graphene-Co/CoO NPs, three-dimensional (3D) ordered carbon-Co NPs, intermetallic CuPd NPs, M/CuPd NPs (M=Ag, Au) and bamboo-like carbon nanotube/Fe3C NPs hybrids, which exhibit comparable and even much higher ORR activity and stability than commercial Pt catalyst. Then, I will show how to engineer bimetallic and trimetallic NPs and NWs for enhancing liquid fuels electrooxidation reactions. Finally, I will report several recent important progresses on the use of new nanocrystals for enhancing lithium ion/sulfur batteries and sensors.
 
报告人简介:
郭少军博士,北京大学材料科学与工程系及能源与资源系研究员、博士生导师,中组部计划入选者,世界高被引科学家。郭博士于2005年在公司化学学院获理学学士学位,于20111月获中国科学经理春应用化学研究所分析化学博士学位,师从中国科学院院士、著名分析化学家汪尔康研究员。20111月前往美国布朗大学化学系师从孙守恒教授。20136月入选美国洛斯-阿拉莫斯国家实验室奥本海默杰出学者。20159月加入北京大学工学院。目前获得多项重要的学术奖励和荣誉称号,包括20142015年连续两年入选世界高引用率科学家,John WileySon出版社的“Materials Views”专栏对申请人进行了专访 (2016. 01)2014年国家计划,2013年奥本海默杰出学者和2012年中国科学院百篇优秀博士论文等。

迄今已在国际著名学术期刊Nature Commun. (1), Chem. Soc. Rev. (2), Acc. Chem. Res. (1), JACS (13), Adv. Mater. (7), Angew. Chem. (5), Nano Lett. (4), ACS Nano (12), Nano Today (1), Adv. Energy Mater. (3)Energy Environ. Sci. (2)等共发表学术论文170余篇和书章节4部,其中发表论文影响因子大于1050 (通讯/第一作者影响因子大于1035)ESI Top 1%高引用率文章34篇、ESI Top 0.1%热点文章7篇、亮点文章5篇、封面文章6篇、VIP文章3篇、单篇引用超过100次的34篇和超过600次的3篇。36次被Chemical & Engineering News, Science News, Science Daily, Materials Today, Nano EnergyPhysics News等多家刊物和网站专题评论。发表文章已被引用近13000次,H指数为60
